With the FCC details out we were sure to get this news soon. As it happens, Samsung has issued invites for an August 9 event. The invite doesn’t specify it’s a Note 9 release event but the stylus design means only one thing, we are getting the most awaited phablet of the year.
Galaxy Note 9 won’t change much in terms of overall design or aesthetics, the changes will be minor just like the S8. For the guts, Snapdragon 845 will run the device with rumored 6GB or 8GB RAM depending on the storage options you choose. Dual 16 Megapixel variable aperture cameras will now be placed horizontally also incorporating the fingerprint sensor below which seems to be in a much better position as per the leaks. The latest leaks also suggest that the S-Pen will be the major change in the Note 9 and from the looks of it, it seems likely that we might get a revamped S-Pen. Now that the dates are out, fans can rejoice and the same time start saving for the premium that Note 9 will hold.
