Samsung is in our opinion an innovator in the smartphone industry. Their phones are packed with features and spot on with premium design, S9 is a good example. For a phone that’s an upgrade to an aging S8 has seen some slight design hacks and added features, like the variable aperture camera which has to proven to be the best among the best. The design although a controversial (missed a word there but that will do ) subject is still much better what Apple is doing with the iPhone since 2014.Today the subject is about a new contender in the arena, the LG G7 Thinq.
To bring you up to speed, LG G6 is now due for an update and LG now ditching the G brand entirely, the new successor will probably be called the LG G7 Thinq as per some rumors. The phone in its entirety was rendered and leaked by sources close to LG. The renders show a curved phone just like the S9 with dual camera, a button below the volume rocker and a small notch on top.The LG G7 Thinq will have a 6-inch display with 19:9 aspect ratio compared to Note 9 display aspect ratio of 18.5:9 in a 6.3-inch panel, stretching the entire screen with a notch on top. There will be a dual camera setup on the back with separate cameras for zoom and portrait pictures.
There’s also a button below the volume rocker which suggests that LG might bring in an Ai assistant just like the Bixby button on the Galaxy phones. LG is going with the Snapdragon 845 for the G7 and 4GB or 6GB options to choose. The details suggest a fresh new look for the G7 Thinq which might not be a challenge to the Note with details of it pointing much more premium finish. LG’s new leak shows us that the there will be more contenders by the time the Note hits the shelves and minor changes in design and features it might not just cut it.
