Samsung’s Galaxy S10 has been going through leaks lately and just like the previous devices before, we do have a virtual device in our hands prior to the launch. The previous leaks confirming the display and design changes are exciting enough that a lot of fans are ready to skip the Note 9 for the S10. This time around the leaks are different and pretty much solid unless and until Samsung pull out a different stunt entirely.
The latest set of leaks are details emerged from a firmware released for the Galaxy S9. The firmware has details about 4 variants of the Galaxy S10. Just like previous leaks we reported, the Galaxy S10 will come in 3 variants, all codenamed “Beyond”. And the firmware gives us more details confirming the models. The Beyond 0 will be the base version, probably a 5.8 inch model with a single camera and side mounted fingerprint sensor. Beyond 1 and 2 will be the higher end devices could very well come with a 5.8 inch and 6.5-inch display with dual cameras, or the beyond 1 could come with a 6-inch display as per some other leaks.
What’s more interesting are the details of the Beyond 2 model. It turns out that Samsung will be pulling all stops for this one, now fitted with a 5G radio. The firmware confirms a Beyond 2 models with Beyond 2 5G which tell us that there will be a 5G variant of this phone. Though this model will be limited to Korea and US, the details on when will it come to other countries is still a question. Talking about specs, these models will come with Snapdragon 8150 or Exynos 9820 whereas the 5G model Galaxy S10 will come with Snapdragon X50 or Exynos 5100.
