The Galaxy Note 9 will be out soon and we have got a lot of news to share. One of them is quite and disturbing and one that’s becoming a trend these after the iPhone X launch, the “notch”. With Android P’s notch support it’s assured that many smartphones will come with a notch, the OnePlus 6 offering a solution to hide it as well. Samsung is the only company who’s not caving into trends, happy with the thin black bar at the top for all the sensors.
This news is been floating on the internet for some days now that the Note 9 will see a small notch up top. We certainly don’t agree to such a design upgrade (it’s questionable if this is an upgrade or not). The notch will mean that the display will now stretch on the entire screen, having more space for content. Whether or not this will be a design choice that Samsung makes is still in doubt. To stress the point, a notch shouldn’t be one of the factors for not buying a Note, considering it’s a solution to larger displays.
We have a covered in previous articles the Note 9 color choices, now that there’s a new design, it’s certain that there will be new color choices. The rest of the specs remain the same, touting the Snapdragon 845 with 6GB or 8GB of RAM depending on the storage options, a dual 16 Megapixel camera with variable aperture, new security options like the in-display fingerprint sensor and much more. Note 9 will be launched in September with some premium price tags to boast. Head on over to our news section for the Note 9 preorder details and deals.
